LOCAL NEWS.

       Editor J. Fischer of the Riesel Rustler, was in the city today on business.

       Webb Moore and G H Threadgill of Bell county, in the city Saturday.

       Mrs. J A Lougbridge of Waco, has returned after a visit with friends in the city.

       Editor J Fischer of that splendid local paper, the Riesel Rustler was in the city Monday.

       If you want an appetite and something to eat call on Reed & Adams for drugs and goceries.

       Mrs. A. O. Curry and daughter left Monday night for a visit to Mr. and Mrs. J. A. Powers in Edwards county.

       Mrs. Battle and daughters, Miss Pauline and Mrs. Westbrook are visiting Mr. and Mrs. Bunch in New Iberia.

       Ice cream and cold drinks at Reed & Adams on Friday, Saturday and Sunday mornings until 9 a.m.

       Robert Garrett and wife have returned to their in the Indian Territory, after a visit to relatives in this county.

       Hicks Hunnicutt of Austin was in the city Saturday night enroute to Reagan to visit Everett Clark who is at on a vacation.

       We have a letter from McClanahan stating that the people of that community and adjoining ones are going to have a barbecue and picnic on June 11th.  Program will be sent for next issue.
