Dr. J. A. Davis is confined to his by illness.
The Marlin Library Study Club will meet at the usual place Thursday afternoon t
3:30 o'clock.
The Delphian Society
will meet Thursday morning at nine o'clock in the Majestic Annex lecture room.
The American Legion
Auxiliary will meet at 2:30 Thursday afternoon in the city hall. At this
time a Christmas box will be packed for disabled veterans at Legion.
Two elevens chosen
from the Marlin High school football squad are busy with plays to be used in the
charity game Friday afternoon. Both teams were due for stiff workouts this
afternoon in preparation for the event.
