The Episcopal Choir will meet at 7:30 p.m. tonight.

Marlin lodge No. 715 I.O.O.F. is making plans for an oyster supper for members at the Odd Fellows hall in Marlin at 7:30 o'clock Tuesday night, November 24.

Out of town relatives in Marlin Wednesday afternoon for the funeral of J. W. Mundell included Mr. and Mrs. C. L.Robertson of Reagn, Mrs. Eva Stulz and Miss Leila Baker of Mart.

Mrs. Sanford Stallworth has as her guests for the holidays her daughter-in-law and grand-baby from Pittsburgh, Pa.  They will be joined in about three weeks by Mrs. Stallworth's son, Peyton Stallworth.

Membership campaign plans will receive the attention of Falls county post No. 31 American Legion at its meeting on the second floor of the city hall at 7:30 o'clock tonight, states B. C. Segrest, commander.

Cookies, cakes and clothing valued at $413.09, assembled by members of the Woman's Missionary Society of the First Baptist church of Marlin, were included in the car load of food, feed and clothing contributed this week for Buckner Orphans' Home, Dallas, by Baptists on the east side of the Brazos river in Falls county and others.

Announcement has been received in Marlin of the approaching marriage of Miss Dorothy Elizabeth Page, daughter of Mrs. Turner Braxton Page, to Mr. Robert Hailey Emerson, formely of Marlin, now a resident of Chicago, which will be solemnized in a ceremony at eight p.m. November 24 in the Flamingo hotel, Chicago, Ill.  The groom prospective is a son of Mr. and Mrs. D. R. Emerson of Marlin.
