       The Susanna Wesley Bible Class meets at the residence of Mrs. Jack Poole Tuesday afternoon at 3:30 o'clock with Mrs. J. Lee Harlan and Mrs. C. R. Eddins as joint hostess.

         Members of the arrangements committee for the Falls county American Legion fair will meet in the Marlin city hall at eight o'clock tonight.  It is composed of Raymond Barnett, O. A. Edwards, L. J. Dupuy, J. H. Quick, V. R. Marek, Nathan Levy, Louis Williams, J. A. Collins, John Haak.

       Ensign James Murphy of the Untied States navy leaves this week for San Francisco, Calif., where he will go aboard the U. S. S. Tennessee for active duty after spending several weeks at home.  He was graduated from the naval academy at Annapolis, Md., in June and later took a four-weeks flying course at San Diego, Calif.
