Briefly Told

       Permits to wed:  Ira Williams and Eunice Inez Cloer, Curtis Brown and Paralee Batts.

       Stars are scheduled to "shoot" tonight and also tomorrow night, but they may not be visible to the naked eye, a late report states.
      
       A. F. Judd, division passenger agent of the Missouri Pacific has returned to his Palestine headquarters after a successful visit to Marlin.

       Clouds gathering over Marlin this afternoon were accompanied by a sprinkle of rain about 2:30 p.m. with a fair prospect of more in this area by nightfall.

       Dan Clinton, Falls county farm agent, and R. L. Perdue, milk plant field agent for Falls county, will attend a meeting at Westphalia tonight called to consider forming a milk route through that community.

       Miss Onah Jacks, Falls county demonstration agent, has gone to Austin on a vacation visit.  She will attend a district demonstration agents meeting at San Leon before returning to Marlin about September 1.
