Briefly Told

R. E. Cox, Jr., left Friday afternoon for New York markets with other buyers of the Cox Dry Goods Company stores.

Senator Tom Connally returned this afternoon from Buffalo Gap where he delivered an address at an old settlers reunion Friday.

Cedapr (sic) Springs watermelons are good this year in spite of dry weather in June and early part of July.  The yield will not be so large probably, but the faovr (sic) is said to be fully up to the reputation of the Cedar Springs area.

A revival beginning Sunday, July 19, at Tomlinson Hill reunion grounds continues through July 26 with Rev. A. W. DeGuire, pastor of the First Presbyterian church of Lott, preaching every night at 8:15 o'clock.
