The Susana Wesley Bible Class will meet with Mrs. J. E. Coleman at 3:30 o’clock Tuesday afternoon.

“Business must be getting better, I see a new set of stock salesmen in the city,” said an observant citizen today.

Members of the Young Men’s Bible Class of the First Methodist church will have a watermelon feast at the church annex at eight o’clock Thursday evening.

No evidence of rabies was found in the head of a cat sent to Pasteur Institute at Austin after the animal had scratched the three-year old daughter of Mr. & Mrs. W. J. Barnett.

A number of Marlin Odd Fellows are planning to go to Waco Tuesday night to witness confering the second degree of that order in the open.  A park on the Bosque river will be the scene of the ceremonies.

Permits to wed:  Clinton Allen and Ruby E. Strait, James Brown and Juanita Lamar, Luther Leopard and Julia Dean, Sam Kirk and Jerome Dunn, T. J. Holton and Mary Jane Stricklin.

The meeting of the Greater Marlin Club slated today was postponed to Tuesday noon at the Hilton hotel, H. C. Mitchell of Blue Ridge will discuss interest of farmers of this section in dairying and Miss Alma Anderson of Reagan will give a reading, states R. L. Perdue, chairman of the day.
