There will be a rehearsal of the Episcopal choir at 8 o'clock this evening.

Mrs. T. A. Cheeves, Sr., Mr. and Mrs. T.A. Cheeves, Jr., of Marlin, and Mrs. Adrew Rutter of Houston were scheduled to sail from Galveston
today on a tour of northern Europe.

MIss Nancy Eddins has returned from Lubbock where she was the guest of her sister, Mrs. Daniel Blair.  Miss Eddins, who taught at Satin last year, has been elected English instructor in Ralls High school for the 1931-32 session.

Plans for open house and a book shower at the library from 9:30 a.m. to five p.m. Friday will be considered by the Marlin Library Study Club at its regular meeting in the Majestic-Annex hotel lecture room at 3:30 o'clock Thursday afternoon.

The Boy Scouts of Marlin have been invited to attend the memorial services at Calvary cemetery next Sunday afternoon.  All three troops
will meet at Memorial Cabin at 2:30 p.m.  The boys will march to the cemetery in a body.  Color bearers will be the ranking two scouts of each troop.
