       Deputy Watkins is slowly recovering from a poisioning in his knee with nettle with which he came in contact recently in a raid on some gamesers near Lott.

       There was one plea of guilty entered in county court Wednesday.  Gerino Pinderosa, for theft under $50, was fined $1 and one day in jail.

       J. B. Milam of Memphis, Tenn., is visiting his brother, C. L. Milam.

       J. E. Quaid of Austin is spending a few days with relatives in this city.
