C.(or G - paper torn) Griffin of Waco underwent an operation in Marlin

Monday night.

Perry Smith of Durango was brought to a Marlin hospital for treatmetn

today.

The condition of J. W. Mundell, ill at a Marlin hospital, is reported

unchanged.

Sheriff M. M. Reese of Marlin, Chas. Brown and Jim Clark of Rosebud

left this week ona deer hunt in the Rock Spring section.



Jack Neal former Marlin resident, who has been serving as vice counsel

at Barrinquilla, Colombia, South America, left for Houston today after a

visit in the G. H. Olinger home. Following a visit with his mother and other

relatives in Houston, he will proceed to Washington, D.C., for assignment in

the consular service.
