Poindexter Stuckey, b January 21, 1813 in Alabama, d November 13, 1884 in the Pleasant Grove community of Falls County, Texas and buried in Powers Chapel Cemetery ‑ married first on November 18, 1855 in Alabama to Sarah Ann Bailey, b November 29, 1829, d June 11, 1864. Poindexter married second on August 28, 1867 to Mrs. Martha Jane Dennis, b October 25, 1840, d October 24, 1878 at Pleasant Grove, and buried in Powers Chapel Cemetery in Falls County, Texas. Poindexter and Martha Jane came to Falls County, Texas about 1876 with his three children by his first marriage, and their four children.

James Lewis Stuckey, b January 7, 1859 in Alabama, d January 12, 1934 at Lott ‑married December 9, 1886 in Falls County to Emma Jane Brown.

Jonathan Collins Stuckey, b ca 1861, d January 9, 1909 ‑ married June 30, 1887 to Frances E. Durham.

Sarah Katherine Stuckey, b ca 1856 d May 30, 1920 ‑ married M. Ed Brown.
