CHARLES JAMES STUCKEY

 

 

 

Charles James Stuckey, b September 1, 1893 in Falls County, Texas ‑ a son of Reverend James Lewis Stuckey and his wife, Emma Jane (Brown) Stuckey, was married on June 15, 1921 in Falls County, Texas to Nettie Eugenia Wallace, b August 20, 1891 in the Live Oak community ‑ a daughter of Felix Lafayette and Nancy Ann (Godwin) Wallace, d August 21, 1986, buried in Phillips Cemetery, Travis County, Texas.

Charles and Nettie have lived and farmed near Travis all their married lives. They are members of the Travis Baptist Church. Now in their nineties, they are living with their son in the family home.

Charles and Nettie Stuckey had three children:

Mary Virginia Stuckey, b August 27, 1922 ‑ mar­ried William Logan Sharp.

Charles Wallace Stuckey, b February 26, 1929 at Live Oak, has never married and resides with his par­ents in the family home.

Isla Ruth Stuckey, b March 25, 1932 ‑ married James Edward Knowles.
