SANDYS STUART PEYTON

     Sandys Stuart Peyton, b August 10, 1940 in New York - is a son of Andrew Hollingsworth and Julia M. (Monahan) Peyton. He lived with his parents in Cuba, Honduras, Indonesia, and Haiti before returning to Marlin in 1959 to attend Marlin High School and Baylor University - living with his aunts.

     In 1962, Sandys was married first to Patricia Wimberly of Rosebud - a daughter of John and Ruth Wimberly. After receiving a degree from Baylor University in 1963, Sandys enlisted in the U.S. Air Force, serving until February 1968, with an assignment in Turkey, before being discharged as a Captain.

     Sandys and Patricia (Wimberly) Peyton were the parents of one daughter, Cynthia Lynn Peyton-Runcie, b October 21, 1965 in Marlin, who is now attending Texas Technological University in Lubbock, Texas.

     On October 8, 1968, Sandys married second to Diane Harrell of Waco, Texas, and they reside in Missouri City. Texas.
