CHRISTOPHER COLUMBUS PARSONS

     Christopher Columbus Parsons, b March 8, 1896, d July 11,1962 and buried in Hillcrest Cemetery at Marlin, Falls County, Texas - was a son of Samuel Louis and Mary Jane (Taylor) Parsons.

     Christopher Columbus was married to Marian Springfield, b April 1, 1900 in Franklin, Texas, d January 3, 1957 in Marlin and buried in Hillcrest Cemetery - a daughter of Fletcher Langston and Alice (McDonald) Springfield. They had three children:

     Helen Christine Parsons, b December 24, 1924- married first to Sam Reichle, and married second to Ed Ramzinsky.

     Thomas Wayne Parsons, b January 21, 1934- married Christine Michalak, and had two children: Kathy Lynn Parsons, who married first in 1976 to Mark Slafka, and had Derek Austin Slafka, and married second to Billy F. Walker of Gatesville, Texas, and had Kasey Leigh Walker; and Joel Wayne Parsons, who married Shirla D. Tull, and they had Mark Wayne Parsons and James Scott Parsons.

     Mary Alice Parsons, b January 1, 1938 - married Paul Wagenschein, and had Kevin Wagenschein and Kimberly Wagenschein.
