CLIFTON LEO ADOLPH KRAEMER

 

 

     Clifton Leo Adolph Kraemer, b February 15, 1916 at Kyle, Hays County, Texas - was a son of Adolph Bernard and Bertha Louise (Hill) Kraemer. He married July 19, 1946 to Viola Doracy Hansen, b May 30, 1914 - a daughter of Christian Charles and Hulda (Gummelt) Hansen of Cottonwood, Falls County, Texas.

     Clifton served in the Navy Air Force during World War II - serving as a Pharmacist Mate. He lived near Mooreville in Falls County, and worked as a Laboratory Technician at the Waco Veterans Administration Hospital until his retirement in 1973.

     Viola was an interior decorator. In 1950, they bought a small farm, and in 1967 they purchased a farm with 40 acres in Falls County and 58 acres in McLennan County. They are active members of the Cottonwood Baptist Church, and enjoy volunteer work with the Texas Baptist Men Retirees, building churches. They also work in the River Ministry in South Texas.

     Clifton and Viola have three children:

     Kathryn Joyce Kraemer,b August 3,1947 in Hill- crest Hospital, Waco, McLennan County, Texas-married July 15, 1967 to J. R. Moffett. She is a school teacher.

     Clifton Ray Kraemer, b July 27, 1950 in Hillcrest Hospital, Waco - married August 7, 1976 to Elizabeth Shelton, and works as a plumber.

     Roy Danell Kraemer, b March 20, 1954 in Hill- crest Hospital, Waco - is not married, and he is an electrician.

     Clifton and Viola have five grandchildren: Jamie, Jeramv, Michael, Amy, and Laurie.
