HENRY WILLIAM HARRISON

     Henry William Harrison, b between 1845 and 1848 in Mississippi - married ca 1872 to Nancy Emelina Johnson, b January 1, 1850 in Mississippi, d November 14, 1934 in Falls County, Texas and buried in the Covington Cemetery at Reagan. There is no tomb- stone for Henry William Harrison, who brought his family in the 1890's to Texas, and died before 1900.

     Henry William and Nancy Emelina (Johnson) Harrison had four identified children:

     James M. Harrison, b January 1874 in Mississippi - married in 1897 to Minnie E. (maiden name un- known), b June 1880 in Texas. James died in a train explosion. He and Minnie had one son, Royal R. Harrison, b October 1898 in Texas - and the family moved to Ellis County, Texas..

     John T. Harrison, b July 12,1878 in Mississippi, d February 4, 1907 in Falls County, Texas and buried in Covington Cemetery near Reagan, Texas - married November 28, 1899 in Falls County to Katherine C. Laird, b October 1881, d October 29,1967 and buried in Houston, Texas - a daughter of Elias and Delilah (Gilchrist) Laird. John T. and Katherine had two children: Clifford Elias Harrison, b July 19, 1902; and Benetta Harrison who married W. N. Fraley of Houston, Texas, and had no children. After the death of John T. Harrison, Katherine C. (Laird) Harrison married second on April 21, 1915 to W. T. Sprague, and had one son, W. T. Sprague, Jr., b September 20, 1918, who resides in Canyon Lake, Texas.

     Henry William Harrison, Jr., b May 21, 1880 in Mississippi, d December 24, 1953 and buried in Covington Cemetery near Reagan, Texas - married in Falls County on December 18, 1906 to Carrie N. Laird, b November 25, 1884, d August 24, 1971 - a sister of Katherine Laird who married his brother, John T. Harrison. Henry and Carrie reared their nephew and niece, Clifford Elias and Benetta Harrison, after the death of their father. Henry and Carrie lived at Highbank in Falls County from 1913 to 1918, but again settling in Reagan, where Henry was a County Commissioner.

     Lorene M. ("Lady") Harrison, b November 1886 in Mississippi, died in a car wreck. She married first to R. M. McJunkin of Houston, and married second to Lee Jones of Baytown. Texas.
