RICHARD GLOCKZIN

 

     Richard Glockzin, b June 27, 1929 in Falls County, Texas, d April 29, 1972 in Marlin, and buried in Hillcrest Cemetery - was a son of Walter A. and Lillie (Quandt) Glockzin.

     On April 26, 1952 in St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Marlin, Richard married Anna Benke, b September 22, 1930 in Falls County - a daughter of Joe and Annie (Tepe) Benke.

     Richard was an electrician, and worked with the Little League in Marlin. He died while mowing the Little League Ball Field on Neumann Drive in Marlin.

     Richard and Anna (Benke) Glockzin were the parents of four children - all born in Marlin, Falls County, Texas:

     Steven G.lockzin, b October 29, 1954 - married July 3, 1975 in Mart, McLennan County, Texas to Patsy Daughty, b February 17, 1956 in Falls County. They have two children: Hope Glockzin, b March 24, 1977 in Waco, Texas; and Lhea Glockzin, b October 27, 1979 in Waco, Texas.

     Susan Glockzin, b November 18, 1955 - married April 6, 1974 in Marlin, Texas to Phillip Musia, Jr., b June 13, 1948 in Falls County. They have two children: Sharada Musia, b February 1, 1978 in Houston, Texas; and Angela Musia, b May 24, 1980 in Houston.

     David Glockzin, b December 30, 1.957 - married February 20, 1980 in Marlin, Texas to Denise Warren, b December 13,1959. They have two children: David Clay Glockzin, b July 29, 1981 in Bryan, Texas; and Blaire Glockzin, b January 21, 1985 in Waco, Texas.

     Jo Ann Glockzin, b March 3, 1960 - married March 28, 1981 in Farmers Branch, Texas to James Gilchrest, b June 14, 1955 in Borger, Texas, and had a daughter, Amber Gilchrest, b August 19, 1981 in Dallas, Texas. Jo Ann plans to marry second on July 3, 1986 to Jimmy P. Wingo.

     Anna (Benke) Glockzin now resides in Arlington, Texas.
