Robert Monroe Eakin

     Born November 30, 1864 and died October 30, 1954. He was married on October 31, 1888 to Hester Nancy Bridwell Eakin, who was born December 18, 1871 and died March 6, 1964.

     Their children: Bessie Mae Eakin Hoyle, born November 9, 1894 and died September 26, 1923. She was married to Evan Solan Hoyle on December 24, 1916 and had one son, Orphey Robert Hoyle, born September 6, 1917.

     Vera Edna Eakin Roan Pottinger, born March 24, 1899 and died February 2, 1965. She was married to Almous Dewey Roan, born January 26, 1899 and died June 23, 1956, and had one son, Virgil Harold Roan. They were divorced and she married Claude B. Pottinger, born April 11, 1911 and died February 14, 1972.

     Clarence Monroe Eakin, born January 29, 1901 and died in 1977 in Chilton.

     William Bridwell Eakin, born August 26, 1903, was married on August 9, 1926 in Colorado Springs, Colorado to Mary Alice Montgomery Eakin, born February 7, 1913. They had one daughter, Bettye Alleyne Eakin Chowning, born June 24, 1927. She was married to Alvis LeRoy Chowning and had two children: Delores Allene Chowning Fincher, married to Kenneth Fincher, three children, Terry Lynn Fincher of Floydada, Tammy Fincher Dorris, and Kenneth Todd Fincher, and Billy Douglas Chowning, who had two children, Douglas Wayne Chowning and Dustun Coe Chowning.

     Robert Durwood Eakin, born January 17, 1912, married Imogene Hinsley Eakin, born on April 8, 1915. They had one son, Robert Durwood Eakin, born September 22, 1938. They were divorced and he married Louise Griffin Eakin and had one son, Clyde Bert Eakin, born August 27, 1954.
