TSCHARNER DE GRAFFENRIED

 

 

     Tscharner de Graffenried, b February 23, 1859 in Colorado County, Texas, d 1927 and buried in Chilton Cemetery, Falls County, Texas - was a son of Dr. Fleming Taylor and Augusta G. (Townsend) de Graffenried. Tscharner was named for his father's brother, Dr. Thomas Tscharner de Graffenried, who also came to Falls County, Texas.

     Tscharner de Graffenried married Leila Jackson, b 1870, d 1928 and buried in Chilton Cemetery - a daughter of Byrd and Mittie (Murchison) Jackson.

     Tscharner and Leila (Jackson) de Graffenried were the parents of twelve children.

     Catherine de Graffenried, b December 22, 1887.

     Gale de Graffenried, b June 18, 1889, d 1943 and buried in the Chilton Cemetery.

     Mary de Graffenried, b August 25, 1891, d June 7, 1934 and buried in Chilton Cemetery - married Sam Jack Evans.

     Kenneth Murchison de Graffenried, b November 10,1892, d June 15, 1965-served as a PFC in the U.S. Army - Medical Department, during World War II.

     Pinksey A. de Graffenried, b September 25, 1894, d April 1, 1971 and buried in Chilton Cemetery - married K. A. Crunk.

     Fleming Taylor de Graffenried II, b July 16, 1896, d August 5, 1967 and buried in Chilton Cemetery.

     Earl de Graffenried, b July 18, 1898, d July 1, 1966 - served as a Tech. 5, Company D, 302 Ordnance Regiment, in World War II.

     Helen de Graffenried, b November 20, 1900.

     Tscharner de Graffenried, b March 22, 1902, d March 14,1976, and buried in Chilton Cemetery.

     Byrd Jackson de Graffenried, b January 21, 1905, d July 7, 1970 and buried in Chilton Cemetery.

     Nell de Graffenried, b March 13, 1907, d March 19, 1946 and buried in Chilton Cemetery - married a Mr. McQuary.

     Ada de Graffenried, b May 10, 1909, d 1925 and buried in Chilton Cemetery.
