DAVIS, ALBERT WHEELER
Albert Wheeler Davis, b December 18, 1898 at Chilton, Falls County, Texas, d
November 11, 1938 -- was a son of John Henry and Ella Pearl (Crow) Davis. Albert
was married to Virgie Cleo Byrd, b September 11, 1903 at Chilton -- a daughter
of Walter Edward and Lillian (Wiggins) Byrd.
The couple lived west of Chilton, and their children attended the Crown Point
School between Chilton and Mooreville; and then attended Chilton High School.
They were parents of two sons:
Albert Harold Davis, b January 14, 1914 -- married Claudia Jo Harris, b April
15, 1932 -- a daughter of Cecil Harris. They love in Arlington, Texas, where
Harold works at Marketing International, and have Timothy Harold Davis, b
February 21, 1957, and Carrie Susan Davis, b June 13, 1959.
Earl L. Davis, b August 17, 1926 at Chilton -- married Virgie Mae Lyon, b
November 13, 1929 in Pine Bluff, Arkansas -- a daughter of Jeff Lyon. They have
Stephen Davis, b June 5, 1952; Russell Davis, b June 7, 1956; and Bruce Davis, b
June 26, 1962.
