DANGERFIELD, WALKER

Walker Dangerfield, b ca 1833 in Virginia -- was brought to Falls County, Texas as a slave by members of the Jones Family. His wife, Polly (Robinson) Dangerfield, was born ca 1830 in Virginia, and named for the Robinsons of that state.
Walker and Polly lived in the Highbank area of Falls County, where they farmed all their lives. They were the parents of five known children:
George Dangerfield, b ca 1852 in Falls County; Willis Dangerfield, b ca 1854; Melinda Dangerfield, b ca 1856; Simon Dangerfield, b ca 1861; and Caroline Dangerfield, b 1869 -- who married Jesse G. Dupree.
