James C. Coker, b February 25, 1924
in Fort Deposit, Alabama - was a son of Cyrus Norman and Lula (Branch) Coker. On
September 4, 1948 in Rosebud, Falls County, Texas, James married Lydia M.
Glockzin, b August 12, 1927 in Falls County, Texas - a daughter of Walter A. and
Lillie (Quandt) Glockzin. James and Lydia (Glockzin) Coker were the parents of
seven children - all born in Falls County, Texas:
Jean Marie Coker, b April 8, 1949 in
Rosebud - married May 14, 1977 in Centerville, Texas to Dale Marsico, b July 16,
1950 in Pittsburg, Pennsylvania. They have two children: A son who wishes not to
be named here and Elizabeth Marie Marsico, b August 10, 1984 in Bryan.
Richard Wayne Coker, b July 6, 1950 in
Rosebud - married May 22, 1971 in Marlin, Texas to Gloria Ann Grams, b October
12, 1950 at Reagan, Falls County, Texas. They have two children: Rebecca Ann
Coker, b June 6,1974 in Lake Jackson, Texas; and Melissa Diane Coker, b April 3,
1981 in Lake Jackson.
Margaret Ann Coker, b October 17, 1951 in
Rosebud - married February 6, 1971 in Rosebud to Herman Scheler, Jr., b November
19, 1946 in Milam County, Texas. They had one son: Michael Paul Scheler, b
August 4, 1972 in Rosebud. Margaret Ann married second on October 24, 1980 in
Marlin, Texas to Samuel Lynn Moore, b June 18, 1950 in Dallas, Texas, and they
have no children.
Wanda Joyce Coker, b April 8, 1953 in
Rosebud - married June 21, 1980 in Rosebud to Dallas Franklin Southard, b April
13, 1957 in Robstown, Texas. They have no children.
James Kenneth Coker, b September 19, 1954
in Rosebud, d September 22, 1984 in a tractor accident, and was buried in Clover
Hill Cemetery in Lott, Texas. On December 9,1983 in Longview, Texas, James
Kenneth had married Carolyn Ann Bashore, b December 17, 1962 in San Antonio,
Texas. They had no children.
Dale Lawrence Coker, b December 4, 1958 in
Rosebud - married June 30, 1983 in Marlin, Texas to Ginger Balzrette, b January
17, 1962 in Coushatta, Louisiana. They have one child: James Cornelius Coker, b
November 18, 1984 in Rosebud, Texas.
Dwane Lester Coker, b September 29, 1963 in
Rosebud, Texas - is not married.
James C. and Lydia M. (Glockzin) Coker now
reside in Lott, Texas, and James is a rancher.
