IDLE
Looking for any evidence that James Henry IDLE and family lived in Wellington, OH between 1883 and 1885. The wife's name was Margaretta (CLARK) IDLE; their son, John would have been school age during this period. They lived most of their life in Attica, Indiana but had a son, William Clark IDLE born in Wellington on 18 Mar 1884. When they returned to Attica, IN in 1885, he was the Engineer at their Flour Mill -- maybe he worked in a similar roll in Wellington. Thank You.

GEDERT, RODDEN, RONAU
I'm looking for my Gedert relatives who lived in N. Ridgeville, Lorain Co., OH. Johann Jakob Geddert would have been John's given name before it was Americanized. This name is of North German/Frisian origin.
John and Magdalena (Ronau/Rodden) were married in Avon, Lorain Co., OH, and their first six children were born on the farm in Ridgeville Twp., just south of Avon. They came to Monclova Twp., Lucas Co., OH to establish their farm home in 1871 or 1872. They cleared and drained the land (part of the Black Swamp) and built a home on land that now (in the 1990's) is part of the Toledo Express Airport, on US 20-A, also known as Maumee-Western Rd. This property is just a few miles east of the Oak Openings Preserve. Their last six children were born on this farm. John was one of six children. He and Magdalena had 12 children. I will share my info with anyone with information to add to my database.
