Additonal Notes: Leicester Lloyd was graduated at Williams College in 1818. He read law but
a short time, and then went to sea, making one voyage. He also taught
school before his marriage, then came to Ohio and settled in Lake County on a farm of 500 acres
which had been given to him by his father.
In all the Lloyd
family aquired 1500 acres of what is today part of Cleveland Ohio.
Sons Charles & George relocated to Wisconsin abt 1860. Robert also lived
in Wisconsin but moved back to Ohio 1870-80.
