Ives : In St. Paul on Thursday, May 6, 1886, Mrs. Martha A. Ives, aged 61
years.
Mrs. Ives was born in Perry, Lake county, Ohio, June 21, 1825, her maiden
name being Amidon. She came to Minnesota in the spring of 1861 and
settled at Farmington, where she lived until a few years ago, when she
removed to St. Paul. Her remains were brought to Farmington, for burial,
on Saturday last, funeral services being held at the M. W. church by Rev.
O. Williams. Her sons, John Ives, with his wife, James Ives, his son and
daughter, Leo and Marvin Ives, and a daughter, Mrs. M. K. Williams, and
her husband, all came down from St. Paul and Minneapolis, where they now
reside, and were present at the funeral.
