Ayana Anmarie Shrell Scales

Ayana Anmarie Shrell Scales, 11, formerly of Sandusky, passed away unexpectedly Friday, May 24, 2019, in St. Elizabeth Youngstown Hospital.

She was born June 18, 2007, in Sandusky, to Marlene T. Campbell and Timothy H. Clutcher.

Ayana was a 6th grade student at C.M Musser Elementary School. She was an honor student, a member of student council, the cheerleading squad, and volleyball team. She was such an angel, the light of many people's lives that got called home. She enjoyed reading, writing, drawing and spending time with her family, especially her nephews.

In addition to her parents, she is survived by her sister, Katelyn Scales; nephews, Ethan, Robert and Alek; aunts and uncles, Larry Shelton of Nashville, Sylvia Lenneth Strickland, Valerie Scales, Bobby Scales, Terrerll Scales, Reginald Scales, Steve Scales all of Sandusky, Karl Radley, John Radley Jr., Mary Wilson and Katrina Radley of Nashville; special cousin, Nazyia Campbell; special friends, Ahnyx Russell and Caleya Robinson; a host of cousins and other family members.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Annie Scales and John Radley; great-grandmother, Mary Bey; aunt and uncle, Darlene Scales and Andre Campbell; and cousin, Walter Box.

Friends may call from 4 p.m. Friday, May 31, until funeral services at 6 p.m., at Toft Funeral Home & Crematory, 2001 Columbus Ave., Sandusky. Additional services and burial will be held at a later date in Nashville.
