One Hundred Years Ago In Cuyahoga County in the 1920 U.S. Census

Did your ancestors live in Cuyahoga County, Ohio in 1921? Were they in the census that year in the county? Did they live here, even if only briefly, in 1921 or any time before that? If so, you are eligible for at least one of the Cuyahoga County Lineage Groups.

The group known as "Centurions" begun in 2009, honors ancestors who lived in Cuyahoga County 100 years ago, or any time between January 1, 1881 and the end of 19201 Residence is now easy to document if your ancestors were in the 1920 census. A variety of other records can also prove residence.

The other lineage groups are "Pioneers," launched in 2004, for residence by the end of 1850, and "Settlers" from then to the end of 1880, which was begun in 2006. Applications are due by December 31st each year. An event is held the following spring to award certificates and pins to all successful applicants.
