ONDRACEK, FRANTISKA "FANNY" (VAFEK) [1884-September 11, 1915]
MRS. CHARLES ONDRACEK
Mrs. Charles Ondracek, who has been quite ill at her home in this city for the past five months, was taken to the hospital in Omaha a week ago last Sunday in hopes that the treatments she would receive there would relieve her of the illness that came as a result of some abnormal condition of the brain. The treatments did not seem to be of any avail and her life came to its close Saturday.
The remains were brought to Schuyler Monday and funeral rites conducted by the Rev. Father Broz at the St. Mary’s Catholic church Wednesday forenoon. The interment was in the Schuyler cemetery.
Mrs. Fanny Ondracek was a native of Bohemia, having come to this country a few years ago. She is survived by her husband and five children, three girls and two boys. The oldest child is seven years of age while the youngest is a mere babe of only about six months. The little ones thus berefit of a mother’s care and love are indeed deserving of the sympathy of all. Mrs. Ondracek was a lady who was well thought of by all who chanced to know her. She was a kind and loving mother, a faithful wife and a splendid neighbor and goodly friend. The sorrowing relatives have the sympathy of their friends in their hour of deep affliction.
