    b. Oct. 4, 1929, Howells, Neb.; d. Nov. 12, 2008, at age 79.
    Moved to Portland in 1939; graduated from Franklin High School; was a carpet layer for Parker Furniture for more than 20 years. Married Charity Lyons in 1947 (d. 2003).
    Survivors: daughter, Carol Kleine; sons, Dale and Gary; eight grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. Son Steve died in 1989.

    Moved to Oregon City in 1949. Bookkeeper for Clackamas County agriculture department. Married Gilbert Haas in 1938 (d. 1968).
    Survivors: daughters, Connie Petersen, Nancy Brockmann, Gayle Fibelstad; 12 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild.
    Services Oct. 1, 2008, at Trinity Lutheran Church. Remembrances to Willamette Falls Hospice. Arrangements by Hillside Chapel.

    Margaret M. Randall, 84, died Sept. 14, 2007. Margaret M. Bade was born Nov. 28, 1922, in Leigh, Neb. Married Herbert in 1944; moved to Portland in 1954. She was a volunteer for Loaves & Fishes and the Oregon Food Bank. Survivors include her son, Richard; daughters, Laurelyn Nesse, Karen Fitch and Holly Jackson; sister, Henrietta Hanson; and two grandchildren. Preceded by her husband in 1989. Remembrances to Loaves & Fishes. Arrangements by Hustad.

    Served in US Navy during WW II. Married - 17 Oct. 1946 Marie Kollmeyer.
    Owned Thor Reality in Oakland, CA. Retired to Port Angeles, WA in 1977; one month ago, moved to Portland, OR.
    Survived by wife, one son and one daughter; seven grandchildren. Daughter Jeanette Thor died August 1973.
    Services: Saturday, Feb. 9, at 1 p.m., Sunnyside Little Chapel of the Chimes, 11667 SE Stevens Road, Portland, OR.
    Private burial: Willamette National Cemetery. Memorials: Charity of choice.
