WELCH, CORA BELL (LONGWITH) [1868 - March 18, 1942]
    Mrs. Cora Bell Welch, 74, died Wednesday (March 18, 1942) at her home at 606 W. ninth Street after a five-week illness of heart trouble. She came to Sioux City 28 years ago from Fremont, Neb.
    Mrs. Welch is survived by her widower, Walter Edward Welch; a daughter, Mrs. Alma Passow, Minneapolis,; a brother, Bert Longwith, Schuyler, Neb., and a step-daughter, Mrs. J. E. Plantz, Sioux City.
    Funeral services will be held at 2 o'clock this afternoon in Rutledge's funeral chapel. Rev. E. E. Meshberger, pastor of Holiness mission, will officiate and burial will be in Logan Park cemetery. [Submitted by Tami Longwith]
