NOTES: Jefferson was born in Ohio and lived there until he moved with his 2nd wife Eliza Jane Miller Rose and his children from his first marriage. The first record I have on him the 1870 Nebraska Census listing him and his wife Eliza Jane. There is also a land purchase made on 11 Dec. 1878. Jefferson and Eliza has two children that died and are buried in the Schuyler City Cemetery. I know Jefferson died in Schuyler but I can't locate where he is buried.
