History of the Jacob Way Family
Jacob Way born 14 Dec. 1845, Knox county Illinois. He married Mary Adkins in 1867 Knox county Illinois, she died 1881 in Butler county Nebraska. Jacob then married Emma Jane Price on 7 Aug. 1884, Surprise, Butler county Nebraska. Jacob Way died 11 Oct. 1928 in Surprise, Nebraska.
The photo below shows his grandchildren: Raymond, Eva, Delmar, Gladys Way (b. 1917), Luella Way (b. 1918), Elmer Way (b. 1925), Wendell Way (b. 1925), Richard and Emerson. The photo is circa 1930. Some of these youngsters attended District 83, Surprise, Nebr.
