The Homestead Certificate reads: North West quarter of Section 11 in Township 156, North of Range 71, Weat of the fifth Principal Merridian in North Dakota, containing 160 acres

Trying to find any info on my GG Grandfather Vernon Byron Mathews, he was the founder of Oberon Benson County, ND..am very interested in where his daughter Mary Louise Mathews was born? believe it was in oberon but not positive, he married a Hannah (Anna) Agusta Stevenson..

Andrew Thomas LEE, b. 3/8/1866, unknown where, died 3/24/1912 in Jamestown, North Dakota.
Andrew married Ida PETERSON, b. 10/14/1869, unknown where, died 1/13/1911 in Jamestown, North Dakota.
They were owners of the Maddock Hotel in Maddock, ND, purchased in 1907.
Also seeking information on the hotel in the Maddock (Benson Co.) Centennial Book. Andrew LEE had a sister (? LEE) who married Ole CLEVELAND. Ole owned the LEE Store in Maddock (Benson Co.) Please note: Ole purchased the store from the "other" LEE family in town, they are not known to be related to Andrew.
