Leander Benton Clark, born 1851 in Osage County, MO, was the son of John Lawson Clark (b. about 1814 in either NC or VA) and Lydia Ward Clark. All other information unknown. Sarah Elizabeth Rand Clark (b. Dec 16, 1853 at Shiloh, TN) was the daughter of George N. Rand (b. about 1833 in IN) and Lucinda Lambeth Rand (Sutton). When George Rand died, Lucinda married B. C. Sutton (all other information unknown). Greenville Spencer Hawkins (possibly from TN or AL) married Emma Howard. Known to have been a southern raider in the Civil War. Emma's mother was Sarah Williamson Howard (Sarah was possibly adopted, may have been an Edwards). All other information unknown. Nan Roberts at : TXZM76A@prodigy.com

MILLER

I am trying to find some information about my great grandfather and great great grandfather who was born in Rolla, Missouri. Their names were Lea Miller (great grandfather) and I am unsure about my great great grandfather. We belive that Lea Miller was born 1876 and died 1970 in Rolla BC Canada, He left Missouri. in aprox. 1908. Lea's father was in either the confederate or the union during the civil war for Canada. As for my great great grandfather, we are not sure about anything except that he ran whiskey and that he fought in the civil war. I am seeking to find name of my Great Grandmother, an Osage Indian woman. She married Joshua Morris in 1665 in Van Buren or Carter County, and my Grand mother Sadie Morris was boprn 6/3/1879. My Grandmother had four sisters; Julia, Sarah, Sorrie and Olive. Joshua Morris was garandson of Roberrt Morris of Philadelphia who signed the Declaration of Independence and literally financed the Revolutionary War as Secretary of the Treasury.
