Winfield Scott Vaughn Biography

Winfield Scott Vaughn was my great-grandfather by my father's mother, Lula Jane Vaughn.

 

Winfield was born Norwood, Maries co. March 23,1852 per Dalton family bible. His fatherss name was Allen Vaughn, and mother's name was Angeline ?. Winfield married Matilda Arminta Risherson, born December 8,1844 in east Tenn. 

 

Children of Winfield and Matilda was Lula Jane, born in Marries co. March 2, 1887. other children were John, Willie, Charley, George, Jim, Mary and Millie my great aunts I knew died in California after 1979. other sisters margret and looks like

Hughie. Millie and Margret were twins. Winfield and Matilda died in 1929 a fews months apart in Cordell, OK.  My grand mother Lula and my grandfather James Haywood Dalton divorced about 1925?  Sometime in 1950's Lula married a Sutton and they lived in Texas Co. Some of my father's family, a sister Oce Dalton was born (May 18,1912) maybe in Mansfield, MO. Matilda's parents were Joe and Jane Richerson. My Uncle Austy Dalton lived in Huston, Mo. on the Sutton place in the 1960's. I am looking for any information that might connect other dots. My dad was Claude Allen Dalton spent most of 20's, 30's near Mansfield, MO. Looking for my great grand father info. Lacy Dalton married a Mary ?, their children James H., Will, Lacy (JR?) , Emma, Gertrude, and Ionn ?
