Descendants of Thomas STOCKETT

This collection of data on the Stockett family originated with a GEDCOM submitted by Mary Celine Scott, the information was expanded from several sources including Anne Arundel and Howard Co church and cemetery records, Warfield's "Founders of Anne Arundel and Howard Counties" and Harry Newman's "Anne Arundel Gentry Vol 2" that has a genealogy of the Stockett brothers and should be consulted for details. None of these are complete of course and there are in the 1850 census of Anne Arundel Co, at least two Stockett families not addressed in the above references, one being a George A Stockett and the other apparently a widow Sarah Stockett and six children.

FIRST GENERATION
