Descendants of Francis CRANDALL

The first mention of Francis Crandall is in the Inventories and Accounts of the Prerogative Court where he is mentioned as one of several servants in the inventory of the estate of Henry Hawkins of Charles County dated 29 May 1699. His marriage to Hester/Esther Hill is recorded in the All Hallows Parish Register and the births of some of their children are in the St James' Parish Register.

FIRST GENERATION

1. Francis Crandall(1) had an estate probated on 20 Nov 1744 in Anne Arundel Co., MD. (2) He died before 30 Nov 1744 in Ann Arundel County, Maryland. He signed a will in Anne Arundel Co., MD.(2)

He was married to Esther Hill on 25 Sep 1707 in All Hallows Parish, Anne Arundel Co., MD.(3) Francis Crandall and Esther Hill had the following children:

5. Abell Crandall (1) was born on 24 Aug 1715 in St. James' Parish, Anne Arundel Co., MD.(3) He died on 18 Jan 1755. His Estate Administration ws filed on 16 Jun 1763 in Anne Arundel Co., MD.

She died about 1 Jun 1746. She was buried on 2 Jun 1746 in St. James' Parish, Anne Arundel Co., MD.(3) Francis Crandall and Jane Atwood had the following children:

He was married to Elizabeth DOVE on 22 Feb 1778 in St. James' Parish, Anne Arundel Co., MD.(3) Adam Crandall and Elizabeth DOVE had the following children:

Sybill(1) died on 16 Jun 1767. Her Inventory of Estate was filed on 22 Jun 1767 in Anne Arundel Co., MD. Henry Crandall and Sybill had the following children:

child30 i. Henry Atwood Crandall(1) was born between 1740 and 1759. He died about 1823.
