John Allen, born c.1740-1750, died January 1804 Montgomery Co., KY. Parents and siblings unknown. Suspected origin Virginia or North Carolina but unknown. Married first wife Hannah (unproven) c.1773. Children from that marriage, Catron (c.1774), Sarah (c.1776), George (1782), Joshua (1784), Hannah (1787), William (1789) and John (1791). Lived in Fayette Co., KY somewhere near Ft. Boonesborough 1789-1792. A George Allen, possible father or brother, lived nearby on Four Mile Creek. Lived near headwaters of Hinkston and Lulbegrud Creeks in Clark/Montgomery Co., KY 1793-1799. Founding member and Elder in Lulbegrud Baptist Church. Married Ann Griffin dau. of Richard Griffin 1794. Lived on Slate Creek just east of Jeffersonville 1799-1804. Wife Ann died c.1826. Son George married Barbary Myers dau. of Henry Myers in 1806. George died 1839 in Bath Co., KY.

Ralph/Raymond Bush, born 1 Oct 1899, Mt. Sterling is D.B. Foster's brickwall. His death certificate lists his mother as Lizzie Pelfrey. Nothing is known of his siblings or father, although the Bush name has been a well known name in this area going back to the late 1700s.

James White, born between 1766 to 1784 as he was listed in both the 1790 and the 1810 Montgomery County, Kentucky censuses, unknown death. Parents and siblings unknown. Much conjecture about his parents -- from John White to William White with no known document to prove either. Suspect origin Virginia or North Carolina but unknown. Married wife Sally (Sarah; Susannah) Allen c. late 1790s. James and Sally had six known children: George (c. 1790s-____); Hannah (White) Watkins (c. 1800-____); Betsy (White) James; Martin White (1802-1862); Sally (White) Scott (aft. 1810-bef. 1850); and Allen White. Religious background: suspect Primitive Baptist as son Martin, was a Primitive Baptist minister.
