Welcome to Harrison County, KYGenWeb

Old Burial Ground of Middle Fork of Raven Creek

Located about 1.5 miles south of the Hinton-Webber Road overlooking Raven Creek Harrison County, Kentucky
The cemetery is very difficult to get to - a mile and a half from the road, up hill and down. It overlooks Raven

Creek, and is maybe 2 miles, as the crow flies, from the current Raven Creek Cemetery established in 1914. It is about
100 ft. by 100 ft. and enclosed by an old "stone fence" as they call the low limestone-stacked walls in this area. Several
local families have helped with minimal restoration such as unearthing semi-buried headstones and cutting weeds and
bushes. Many of the graves are marked only with field stones, so the list of names is very incomplete, but I've never
seen it published anywhere, so think this listing definitely helps some searchers.

If you have family buried in this cemetery and they are not included in this list; please submit your
information here and it will be added.
