William C and Mary Susan Underwood

 

William C Underwood was born 20 January 1824 in New Albany Indiana, the son of John Underwood. He married Mary Susan Key 8 Sep 1846 in New Albany. She was born 1820 in Maysville Ky. the daughter of Marshall and Rebecca Key. In the 1850, 1860, and 1870 New Albany Indiana census, William is listed as a steamboat pilot.

Mary Susan Underwood died 1887 in Portland, Jefferson, Ky and was buried in the Portland Cemetery. William C Underwood died 19 January 1922 in West Lafayette Indiana and was buried in the Indiana Soldiers Home Cemetery.
