NEWPORT NEWS
A NEWPORT PILOT MORTALLY WOUNDED-William Henden, (sic) pilot on the gun
boat St Louis, and a citizen of Newport Ky. was mortally wounded during the
recent engagement at Fort Donnellson.
His body will be sent here for interment. Deceased was a highly respectable citizen of our city and his death will be mourned by a large circle of friends and acquaintances.
