LAST WILL OF SARAH ROOT
The will of Mrs. Sarah A Root, which is being contested by the heirs of Albert and James Root, was admitted to probate in the Campbell co Court today, Judge Matt Moore presiding. The probation had been objected to by the contestants and two continuances were granted by the Court. Today, when the contestants asked for another continuance, the propounders of the will refused a further delay and asked that the will be admitted to probate, upon the refusal of the contestants to offer any evidence.
The Court held that the will had been fully proven, according to law, by the two subscribing witnesses, Kate Carmody and W A Burkamp. The contestants nominated executrix, give bond and that an appraisement of Sarah Root's estate be had, was so ordered by the Court. The third continuance was asked for by the continuance on the ground of illness of Blance Speairs.
