Last Will and Testament of August Salinger.
Last will and testament of August Salinger of Campbell County. In the name of God, Amen. I, August Salinger of Campbell County, being in sound mind and disposing memory and realizing the uncertainty of human life do make publish and declare to be my last will and testament.
No. 1 I devise that my wife Carolina Solinger Shall use and benefit and shall receive the interest of any money coming to me. For and during her life.
No 4 After her death I desire that my property Shall be divided into four shares. of which one share or ¼ I give and bear to my son, William Solinger-the other ¼ I give to Amelia Klump. a daughter of my wifes before my marriage to her. The other one fourth I give to Pauline Simon also a daughter of my wifes before my marriage to her. the other and last one fourth I give to my son Andreas Salinger.
No 5. I have two daughters by my first marriage named Halena and Sophia the latter being dead. and the former I give the sum of ten Dollars. And to the heirs of the latter I give ten dollars,-and also to the daughter Louisa now Sister Wihlbaldy the Sum of ten Dollars.
No 6. I hereby nominate and appoint my Son William Salinger Executor of my last will and testament. And ask the court to require no Security of him therefore.
