Richard Tarvin
Alexandria Will Book C, page 108, 21 May 1850; received May Court 1850
In the name of God, Amen, I, Richard Tarvin of Campbell County, Kentucky, being sick in body but of Sound mind and disposing memory, thanks be to Almighty God for the Same. And wishing to settle and dispose of my worldly concerns do make this last will and Testament revoking and cancelling all wills by me heretofore made and declaring this to be my last will and Testament in form and manner as follows to wit.
I do hereby direct that my brother John C Tarvin do procure tomb Stones for all the deceased members of my Father's family to wit. My Father Joseph Tarvin, my Brother Milton Tarvin, my Brother William Tarvin, my Sister Betsey Tarvin, my Brother Elisha Tarvin and my Brother George Tarvin, child, and myself and it is my will that my Mother have I do hereby give unto her all the money and other personal property that shall be left after paying for the grave stones as directed above except my horse and I give unto Oliver Moore my Black horse in consideration for his attendance one during my Sickness. I also give unto my Mother, Martha Tarvin, the rents of my land. I do hereby direct that grave Stones be procured as directed for my sister Nancy Ward's child and my Sister Rachel Boot's child.
I do herby constitute and execution to this my last will and Testament. In Testimony whereof I have hereunto Set my hand and Seal this 21st day of May Eighteen hundred and fifty.

This last will and Testament of Richard Tarvin deceased was produced to Court at the above term and proven by the oaths of James Evans and R Y Kerchival witnesses thereto and ordered to be recorded which is accordingly done in my office.
