I, Mary Trautman, of Newport, Campbell County Kentucky, being of sound mind and memory, do make, publish and declare this my last Will and Testament, hereby revoking all other Wills and Codicils hereafter made by me.
1st- I desire that all my just debts and funeral expenses be first paid with what ever money I may have in Building Association at my death.
2nd-I give devise and bequeath to my grandchildren, Mary and Carrie Blesh, my best bed and bedding, one table, six chairs, one stove, my best carpet, and my sewing machine. I desire that my clothes shall be divided between my daughter, Mary Brown, and my grandchildren Mary and Carrie Blesch.
3rd-I give, devise and bequeath all the rest of my estate, real personal and mixed, absolutely and in fee simple, to my children to be divided between them equally; my grandchildren, Mary and Carrie Blesch to receive the share their mother would have been entitled to had she lived, and the share of my son William (now dead) to be divided equally between his widow, Georgina Trautman, and his children Tillie, Carrie, Edward and Gertrude, share and share alike.
4th-Should either one of my two grandchildren, Mary Blesch or Carrie Blesch die, then the survivor shall receive the share of the one so dying.
5th-I nominate and appoint my sons, Joseph and August Trautman, as the executor’s of this my last Will and Testament, and I hereby confer upon them or upon the one acting or qualifying, should either of them refuse or fail to comply, full power to bargain sell and convey and to give a fee simple title thereto, any or all of this, of the real estate of which I may die possessed, upon such terms as they in their discretion may deem expedient. I respectivefully request that no Bond be required of them and that no inventory or appraisement of my estate be made.
