NEWPORT
The will of Lucy J Drake, of Dayton, was offered for probate in
the County Court yesterday. Charles B Hayward, the former City Clerk of Dayton,
is named executor without bond. The following were made beneficiaries of the
will.
Mrs. Mary Worcester and daughter Mabel, $500, Mrs. Alice May McLaughlin, $300; Ella Barr and daughters Katherine and Ella, each $350; Mrs. Ida B Thomas, $200; Winnie and Richard Spooner and Mrs. Nola Carr, $200; Daniel H Spooner, $250, for funeral expenses; John H Spooner, $200; Edith L Balliff, $200; First Presbyterian Church of Dayton, $150 for home missions; American Board of Foreign Missions, $150; Austin and Leonard Worcester, library of testatrix; Mrs. Mary Worcester, gold watch, also silver and china sets.
It is stipulated in the will that any person made a beneficiary in the will who may be dissatisfied with its provisions and causing litigation shall forfeit his bequest. William M Donaldson was appointed administrator. The will was made in 1896.
