LAST WILL AND TESTAMENT OF JOSEPHINE GRAU DECEASED.
KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS:
That I Josephine Grau, being of sound mind and memory do hereby make, publish
and declare this as my last Will and Testament and do hereby revoke any and all
other Wills by me at any time made.
1st. I direct the payment of my just debts and funeral expenses.
2nd. I direct my executor to expend a sum not to exceed $50.00 for a tombstone for my grave.
3rd. I direct my executor to expend the sum of $100.00 for masses for the repose of my soul.
4th. I direct my executor to expend the sum of $10.00 for membership in the Brotherhood for my parents and brother it is my intention that said ten dollars shall apply for a membership of ten years in said Brotherhood at St. Stephens Church.
5th. I direct my executor to expend a sum sufficient to provide for the perpetual care of the graves of my mother and myself;
6th. All the rest residue and remainder of estate, both real and personal I devise and bequeath to my brother John F. Grau and his wife, Mary Grau in consideration of services and attentions shown me during my illness.
7th. I nominate and appoint my brother John F. Grau executor of this my last Will and Testament and request the proper court to required no Bond from him for the faithful execution of the same and that no inventory or appraisement be made of my estate.
In witness whereof I set my hand this 15th day of Feb’y 1909.

Signed and acknowledged by the testatrix Josephine Grau as her last Will and Testament in our presence and signed by us, at her request, in her presence and in the presence of each other this 18th day of Feb’y 1909.
