NEWPORT

The will of Joseph A Andrews, head of the Newport Rolling Mill and Andrews Steel Mill Companies, was offered for probate in the County Court yesterday. An estate estimated to be worth at least $2,000,000 is disposed of, his two sons, Joseph B and W N Andrews, being named as executors without bond.

Some time ago Colonel Andrews gave to his children a large portion of his estate, consisting of securities and real estate, and he says in his will that no charge shall be made against them for such advances. He also names two sons, Joseph B and W N Andrews, as trustees to hold in trust for 10 years all of his stocks in the Globel Iron, Roofing and Corrugated Company, the Newport Rolling Mill Company and Andrews Steel Company.

He says that these stocks amount to one half of all the stock issues of these corporations. They will collect all dividends and surplus as may accumulate and apply same to payment of the testator's debts. During the term of this trust they may operate, enlarge, improve or buy or sell the properties. They will receive $6000 each per year for their services until all debts are paid; then they dividends and surplus shall be divided equally between Joseph and W N Andrews.

In case either son should die without issue during the 10 years trust the survivor shall inherit his share. In the event of the death of either with children the latter will take the father's share. He leaves the big skyscraper building at Fifth and Race streets, Cincinnati to his daughter, Mary L Andrews and $50,000 life insurance. The property at Eighth and Race streets is left jointly to his children, Mary and W N Andrews.

The homestead at Fifth and Park is left to his son, Joseph B Andrews, together with the personalty therein. Of the bonds of the Andrews Steel Company, he gives $50,000 to Mary Andrews, $25,000 to Genevieve H Andrews, wife of W N Andrews and a like amount to Bettie Andrews, wife of his son, J B Andrews.

He also gives $20,000 insurance money to his son, Joseph B Andrews, together with his summer cottage at Oden, Mich. The balance of his estate, he directs, shall be sold and the proceeds divided among the three children.
