Will of John Nelson of Campbell County, State of Kentucky, being
weak of body, wife: Susanna; sons, Richard, Robert, Covington; daughters,
Elisabeth Hampton, Susanna Faulkner, Mary Nelson, Frances Nelson, Ann Nelson,
Harriet Nelson.
Executors: sons Covington and Richard.
Signed, sealed and acknowledged to be my last
will and testament in presence of Zacha Moore, Joseph Dicken, Wm Thompson,
Edward Moring

The last will and testament of John Nelson, dec'd. was presented to Court and proved by the oaths of Zachariah Moore and Edwin Morin, two of the subscribing Witnesses thereto and ordered to be recorded and on the motion of Covington Nelson, one of the executors therein named who made oath and together with Richard Nelson and Edward Moring, his securities entered into and acknowledged bond in the sum of Five hundred pounds conditioned as the law directs Certificate is granted him for obtaining a probate in due form.
Ordered that Zachariah Moore, Elijah Herndon,
Edward Morin and William Thompson or any three of them being first sworn before
a justice of the peace of this County do appraise in Current money, the slaves
(if any) and personal estate of John Nelson, dec'd. and return a report thereof
to Court.
