Jonathan Anderson
Alexandria Court Order Book 5, page 217, January 25, 1847
The non cupative will of Jonathan Anderson dec'd, Solomon Trusdell and Joseph W Bryan being sworn in Court deposeth and saith; That on or about the 7 day of October 1846, Jonathan Anderson then lying ill heard him make the following will in words spoken by him as follows,
"Sarah (meaning his wife) I wish my little Brother (meaning James Anderson) to have my little gray horse, saddle, a bridle; if there is enough left to pay my debts."
That he was of sound and disposing mind & memory at the time of speaking the above words, and that he died on the 8th day of October 1846.
